Our History:
Fishers Land Seafood LLC is a small family bussiness based in Tulsa Oklahoma. Born with the idea to develop a venue of international commerce between small-scale fisher local communities in the Yucatan Peninsula with Oklahoma and sourrounding areas.
The goal is to offer natural high quality nutritional delicatessen Fish and Seafood products and to obtain sustainable fishing and distribuition certificates.
UNIQUE ARTESANAL FISHERY TEAM
Our fish are wild caught from the Mayan clean sea ocean of the Yucatan peninsula. It is strictly wild caught by household family artesanal fisherman and woman with the most low impact fishing methods.
Artesanal fishing uses a simple fishing boat with low technology, a line and a small hook. This Fishery practices are low scale, less wasteful and can select the appropiate fish and size.
This sustainable ancient artesanal fishing method, fish selection and gentle catching techniques allows us to do our part on keeping a healthy ocean enviroment in the area.
Sustainable fishing and distribution certifications can be monetary costly and a complex process to obtain, however, with savings and keeping the hardwork we strive to achive this goal soon.
